With Shenandoah, your church receives the finest and most beautiful installations of protection and insulation. With our installation of 1/4" tempered E-glass, the church receives substantial protection from stained glass breakage (although as with any glass, tempered E-glass as a protective covering cannot be guaranteed against breakage) due to vandalism or accident; elimination of water leakage; reduction of outside noise; protection from future costly restoration repairs, and possibly reduced insurance rates.

Energy Savings
Also, with an airtight Shenandoah installation, the energy savings during both heating and cooling periods will be greatly increased. Our Shenandoah Master Crew will install the protective covering with a dead air space between the stained glass and the E-glass, greatly reducing the use of your air conditioning and heating units.

An anodized aluminum frame can be fabricated around the perimeter of the stained glass window frame and anchored to create a permanent protective cover. One the tempered E-glass is placed in the frame and sealed watertight by the silicone sealant, the installation will be probably the finest possible.
